Membership

We are a non-profit parental support group that is affiliated with Attachment Parenting International.

Memberships are extremely important; they are our key source of income and allow us to maintain the group and also allow us to spread the word about attachment parenting even further. Membership is $35 per year (of which $15 remains in the group) and is payable through the group leaders. Membership includes quarterly issues of “Attachment Parenting: The Journal of Attachment Parenting” and access to the group library. All donations are appreciated and are tax deductible. While membership in API is encouraged, it is not required to attend regular meetings.

We meet on the fourth Saturday of every month at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church located at 1601 W Imhoff,  Norman, OK 73072. Our calendar has full details about all upcoming events.  API of Norman is non-sectarian. We are extremely grateful to St. Michael’s for providing space for our meetings at no cost.

API is open to ALL parents who are interested in attachment parenting.  We encourage the entire family to attend meetings.  Our space combines areas for the parents as well as play space for the children.
